Initiator

Henk Hinssen, instrument engineering associate and Dutch speaking, living in Belgium. He worked 32 years for ExxonMobil Chemical at many places around the world including several years at our chemical plants in Meerhout, Antwerpen-Zwijndrecht and Rotterdam-Botlek. He retired 2 years ago but remain active in the instrumentation field. To enable this he has established a bvba called iHandl Engineering.

He has been a Conval user practically from day one and rolled out CONVAL to ExxonMobil worldwide. ExxonMobil has quite a number of Conval users in the Benelux. One area of his personal interest is trying to expand CONVAL functionality. He'S in regular contact with the CONVAL developer to achieve this. He contributed to the controllability index development and plans to influence the reliability index development.
